Shishir Pandey is a visionary and dedicated community leader/volunteer who has been serving
communities in Toronto since his migration to Canada in 2011. He holds an M.Ed., BSW, and
RPN and is currently a graduate student at the University of Toronto. Mr. Pandey's extensive voluntary work experience includes serving as the Founding President and Patron of Srijansil Nepali Samaj, Canada, Constituency assistant at the office of Hon. Nathaniel Erskine- Smith, Member of Parliament from Beaches-East York, Director and General Secretary of NCCS
Canada, a Director and Secretary at TCECC 2777, President of CNF Canada and a School
Council Member of Crescent Town Elementary school. Pandey is a Life Member of the Nepali
Literature Society, PNCCC, and the Non-Residential Nepalese Association. He has also worked
as the Principal of Learning Zone Academy, assistant Campus Chief at Herald International
College, and an undergrad faculty at Gramin Aadarsh Campus in Kathmandu, Nepal. His
contributions as a community volunteer have been recognized with awards from a Member of
Parliament and an honorary life membership for revitalizing a school in Nepal.
